Animal House Veterinary Clinic opened on May 26, 2012, and is proudly owned and operated by Dr. Jessica Scruggs, a native of Macon County.
Dr. Jessica Scruggs graduated from NC State Veterinary School in 2014 and has worked throughout Macon County and the surrounding areas for over 12 years. She has extensive experience caring for both family pets and livestock within the local farming community as a mobile veterinarian. Today, Dr. Scruggs provides in-house care for family pets at Animal House Veterinary Clinic while continuing to serve her large animal patients through her mobile veterinary unit.
Animal House Veterinary Clinic specializes in cats and small dogs. Your pet’s health and well-being are extremely important to us, and we take every step possible to provide the highest quality veterinary care.
We are a full-service animal clinic founded with the goal of providing courteous, professional, and affordable veterinary care to the people and pets of Macon County. Our services include examinations, vaccinations, in-house dental care, laboratory testing, x-rays, and surgical services.
Beyond first-rate pet care, we have created a calm and comfortable environment where pets can relax in the waiting room and feel at ease during their visit.
